At Black Mountain Clothing, we use Royal Mail and Parcelforce as our primary couriers. All delivery times quoted apply from the date of dispatch from our warehouse.
Production Lead Times
Our standard production lead time is 10–15 working days (Monday–Friday) from confirmed payment and approval.
Production lead times apply prior to dispatch and are separate from courier delivery times. If your order is particularly large or complex and requires additional time, we will contact you to discuss this.
How long does an order take?
Below is a simple outline of how the process typically works once an order has been placed. Timeframes are indicative and may vary slightly depending on approval response times.
- Day 0–1: Order placed / quote approved
You place an order online or we create a quote for you. You will receive an order confirmation or quote to review and approve. - Days 1–4: Artwork & stock preparation
For new customers or new logos, embroidery files are sent for digitising and print samples are prepared and sent to you for approval. At the same time, stock is ordered in readiness for production. - Days 5–9: Production
Once artwork is approved and stock has arrived, we begin producing your custom garments, applying embroidery and/or print in-house. - Days 10–15: Quality control & dispatch
Your order is quality checked, packed, and made ready for courier dispatch or customer collection.
Delivery Methods
Delivery options shown at checkout are based on the total weight of your order.
Royal Mail (Orders up to 2kg)
- Standard Delivery – 2–3 working days from dispatch
- First Class Delivery – 1–2 working days from dispatch
- Tracked Delivery (Tracked 48) – 2–3 working days from dispatch
- Next Day Tracked (Tracked 24) – 1 working day from dispatch
Parcelforce (Larger & Heavier Orders)
- Parcelforce 48 Tracked – 2–3 working days from dispatch
- Parcelforce 24 Tracked – 1–2 working days from dispatch
Orders exceeding 2kg will automatically be assigned a Parcelforce delivery option at checkout. All delivery times are based on working days and exclude weekends and bank holidays. Courier delays are outside of our control, but we will always assist where possible.
DTF Gang Sheets
DTF gang sheet orders are produced to order and fall under a 5 working day production lead time. Once completed, delivery times apply from dispatch as per the shipping method selected.
Customer Collections & Showroom
Customer collections are available from our main warehouse and showroom:

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm (excluding bank holidays).
Please only collect your order once you have received confirmation that it is ready. Bring your order ID and the name the order was placed under.
